Promeco Supplies Machinery for Global Cable and Tube Production
Promeco has several long-time partnerships. In this particular partnership we have focused on enhancing the design, engineering, and production quality of machines that are integral to cable and wire manufacturing. The partnership has lasted for over ten years.
Our partner is a leading name in the manufacturing production technology for high-precision wires, cables, pipes, and tubes. Promeco produces many of their machines for irrigation and medicine industries and for subsea cables machines, fiber optics and so on.
“Promeco supplies a variety of machinery for different purposes”, Promeco’s Polish unit Key Account Manager Wojciech Chrzanowski says: “It reflects a robust and growing partnership.”
Cooperation has evolved over the years, mostly resulting from the growing market. Promeco’s machines are used to produce cables and wires that are sent to final customers globally. Some machines weigh as much as 5 tons. “For example, wind farms are a growing sector and also the cables have to be bigger”, Chrzanowski says.
Despite the strong core design of the technology, periodic updates and replacements are necessary to enhance durability and performance.
A New Unit Dedicated to Our Partner
Promeco’s commitment is further demonstrated by the opening of a second factory dedicated mostly to meet our partner’s increasing demands.
“In Poland, we have two different units: one in Strzebielino and one in Gościcino”, Chrzanowski says and continues: “In Strzebielino we manufacture and test machinery only to this particular partner, and in Gościcino we assemble products primarily for other customers.”
3 Types of Testing
Producing high-quality machines plays a big role in the cooperation but also different types of testing are done. “There are three types of testing we do: leakage tests, electrical tests, and mechanical tests to ensure that every machine meets the highest standards before reaching global customers”, Chrzanowski explains.
Promeco also has a practice of having regular meetings with customers to make sure everything goes as planned. “Regular interactions between the companies—ranging from quick weekly meetings to comprehensive quarterly reviews—underscore a shared commitment to continuous improvement and customer satisfaction”, Chrzanowski summarises.
Through this partnership, both parties continue to deliver top-tier products globally.
