Promeco Awarded in the “International Employer of the Year 2023” Contest by Finland’s Junior Chamber International!
Promeco won the esteemed “International Employer of the Year” recognition for the year 2023 in Pohjois-Satakunta, presented by Finland’s Junior Chamber International (Suomen Nuorkauppakamarit ry). The competition sought to identify Finnish companies and organizations that have successfully recruited and retained immigrants and international talents within their workforce.
Background on the competition
Initiated in 2021 by JCI United, the focus of the competition was initially to find the most international employer in the Pirkanmaa region. This year, Finland’s Junior Chamber International organized the contest on a national scale for the second time. The aim of the competition is to encourage Finnish companies to utilize foreign expertise, which is crucial for Finland’s future economic growth.
Why were we chosen?
The jury was particularly impressed by our long-term strategy aimed at solving labor shortages. We offer Finnish and English language training courses to our new employees and are committed to our objectives in the long run. This commitment is also evident in our staff’s dedication, for which we received special commendation.
Future prospects
This recognition reaffirms our belief that we are on the right path in developing a diverse and international work community. Moving forward, we intend to continue fostering diversity and internationalism as an integral part of our corporate culture.
